BluesBox is the close encounter where Blues meets Rock & Roll. BluesBox is a dynamic Dutch bluesband of bluesaholics, all of them infected with one common and burning desire: Playing the blues!

The dedicated bluesband brings a broad repertoire of electric blues in the widest sense of the word. Classic blues covers range from sensitive slow blues songs from Etta James, JJ Cale, and BB King up to and including up-tempo blues classics from John Mayall, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Moore, and Tommy Castro.

The bluesband, however, also is at home when it comes to performing classic Rock & Roll hits, for example, from the Rolling Stones and Chuck Berry. Each of them classic roaring sixties hits. Moreover, BluesBox is well-known for its highly interactive live performances with the audience.

Today, the band is a recognised guest on music events and blues festivals locally and abroad. The band also is often invited to support blues and jazz festivals.

Striking feature of the band is a left-handed teenage prodigy playing his guitar like the reincarnation of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Contrary to his very young age, the Benjamin guitarist already has become a respected guest and session guitarist in the Dutch music scene.
